Commuting and Driving

If spending more than two hours driving in the car each day is more like commuting or travelling. This is not ideal use of time or gas money. But there are worse thing that could be part of daily routine.

Suggestions to make the drive better:

• Keep drinking water in the car.
• Keep food that is not messy and never rots.
• Bring napkins, cleansing wipes, or napkins.
• Spare clothes in case you spill your coffee. Extra jacket, sweater, umbrella, or cooler lightweight clothes if weather changes.
• Cell phone charger and maybe an extra charged battery.
• An emergency roadside kit or service membership in case car breaks or there is an accident.

Really, if spending that much time in the car and/or on the go, might want to keep more than that in your car. Might want to bring more personal things like a small travel size toothbrush, small travel size toothpaste, small travel size deoderant, and extra glasses or contact lenses. A first aid kit, and maybe lotion. And take something like music, audio book, podcast, or whatever you downloaded off the internet listen to. Sitting in car, in a line, or waiting for somebody is a great time to make phone calls.
